Reita
and her family put on a delicious pancake breakfast while
the yard sale attracted lots of
shoppers.
Booths lined the street
selling a variety of goods. Proceeds from the festival went
to the Great Basin Water Network, which is helping to fight
to keep Snake Valley water here.
The parade was a huge hit,
with fire trucks from Garrison, Baker, Partoun, and Great
Basin National Park. Many colorful parade entries kept the
spectators grinning.
Horses added to the character
of the parade, and smiles were seen all around.

Games
included Soak your Sweetheart, while free entertainment was
held all afternoon in Baker Hall.

The
silent auction in the afternoon and the live auction in the
evening were quite successful. Altogether, the festival
raised nearly $10,000 for the Great Basin Water
Network.
